Heavy Duty
Our rental boats are made by one of the best boat-builders in the country, Northwest River Supplies. The Otter is a self-bailing boat, which means you have a much larger load capacity than other boats of this size. Because it’s a self-bailer, any water that enters the boat from rain, splashing or just getting in and out simply drains out through the drain holes around the outside of the floor. You’ll never have to bail this boat or flip it over to get the water out.
Our rental boats are fully equipped with pumps, repair kit, three oars (you must have a spare oar), a rowing frame, a bow line, a rescue rope, a cooler or dry box, a cargo platform and cargo net, enough life jackets for everyone aboard and all the straps you need to hold everything together.

Cook sets are customized for each group, and include the following items:
10” plates, 6” bowls, coffee cups, spoons, knives, forks, can opener, spatulas (2 ea), large cook spoons (2 ea), collapsable water jug (1 ea. 2.5 gal. size, measuring cup, cutting board, gas lighter, 12qt. stock pot w/lid, 8qt. stock pot / lid, coffee pot, 12”X18” griddle, 16”X20” grill for fire, 32”X32” Roll-a-Table, wash tub, scour pads, dish soap, folding shovel, folding bow saw, Rubbermaid hard tote. NOTE: A propane stove and 20# propane bottle is included with the Camp Cook Set at no additional charge except the price of the fuel.

Having the right equipment to stat with is vital to explore the great Alaska outdoors. A good quality tent is a vital piece of survival equipment on an Alaska trip. Ours are tested to work in Alaska, and will support large or small groups. For trips that occur before the first frost (generally around the middle of September) we suggest our screen tent to keep the bugs at bay while you cook and dine in comfort.

This fantastic item is one of our most popular rental products and is always in stock. Most folks on river trips (or even on drop-off trips) like to eat real foods. You’ll be hiking, rowing, fishing or hunting, and you need to put some calories back in your system. Our coolers will hold all your fresh or frozen foods for your trip, and they double as a rowing seat on your raft.
